Beau & Baxter's fan page

Mascots always add a touch of class, dignity and wellbeing to any organization.  You may think of Beau and Baxter as mascots or store-dogs or even family to those who frequent the store.  You see these two characters have touched the lives of many who visit the Beastie Boutique.

They're store greeters, attention hounds and an assortment of many other names as those who come in call out to them as they approach.

Beau, is equally good with kids, adults, puppies, etc.  Even though there has been a few that brought out the roar in his bark, he is most usually the gentle sole.

Baxter on the other hand is a little shy, skittish around children but once he warms up to you there's no stopping the kisses.

Stop by and see these two sometime.  If you would like a picture taken to add to this site just let us know.  We hope to grow it to higher levels.

"Beauregard" (aka - Beau)

Breed: Beagle/Bassett mix
Age: 4 (or there about)
Disposition: Easy going, friendly, lap dog, loves all
Turn-ons: Food, attention, laps, belly scratches, Mary (store employee), soft chairs, bed, lazy summer days
Turn-offs: Diets, moving once asleep, grumpy people, grumpy dogs, cold nights, spray bottles/cans, loud noises
History:  Beau was brought to Beastie Boutique in November of 2007.  He was a stray who wandered into a farm home soon after Bart was taken from us.  The people tried to find his home with no success and saw our flyer about Bart.  They thought he might be Bart so they brought him to us.  He was not Bart but they could not keep him and were leaving town.  We decided to foster him and find him a home.  He settled in and found his forever home with us.   We never looked back.

"Baxter" (aka Lil' b)

Breed: Dauchshund w/ Piebald markings
Age: 4 (or there about)
Disposition: Sweet when he wants to be, mean when he needs to be, everything in between.
Turn-ons: Raw food diet, DogsWell jerky treats, female Chiwawa's, being held in daddy's arms, sleeping in back of the chair you are sitting in, snuggling in bed.
Turn-offs: Getting toe-nails cut, wearing shirts, not getting what he wants, getting up to go to work.
History:  Baxter was found by Kristina in October 2007 in the back area behind our store.  He was wondering around by himself looking lost.  Trying to approach him, he took off into the woods.  Not wanting to leave him out there all night, she grabbed a friend from next door and they went into the trees and down a ravine to get a hold of him.  He didn't like anyone coming near him but once Kris had him in her arms, he felt safe and clung to her.
We tried to find his home but all attempts come up empty.  He was well attached to us and not wanting to go anywhere, we decided to keep him and again, we never looked back.
